holbromf LQ Newbie Registered: Dec 2005 Posts: 1 Rep:	qassistantclient lib not found by linker Hi, I am using qdesigner from MDR 2006/64 to test the examples/helpdemo and the linker cannot find qassistantclient.a library. The qassistantclient.prl file exists in the qt3/lib area so can I convert this to a ,a file? I have seen comments on another forum suggesting it is in the qt3-develop RPM ( and/or its 64 bit equivalent ) but on installing the RPM it simply says it is already loaded. Could this be a 'run around' problem with the RPM loader (pardon my paranoier) and if so how do I fix that. Thanks in advance Mike Holbrook holbromf@hotmail.com
