I maybe have one or two problems with Man 9.2 released on the dvd (linux-format mag).
I cannot remove the startup of a desktop which loads the same old application windows
even though I have changed the apps when I halted, or changed users, or powered down.
The desktop on bootup loads again a faulty Totem window -will not do anything- which, I have to kill from terminal window or applications-monitoring-Xkill.
Is there anyway to tell the desktop to save the current desktop and stop this problem?
Is it the Totem fault that is still present even though it has been killed?
Gee. Wouldn't want to block any helpful replies. You've got a lot to learn about common curtesy
OK, so your so new you don't even know what kde control center is. In mdk 9.2, in the start menu go to Configuration>Configure your desktop. That will bring up the program.
I'll be moving along now so that all those who know the answer can submit their posts. Sorry I took the time to help you. Believe me it won't happen again.
Well thanks at least I did get from you the information I wanted.
I would have thought kde control centre should have been under kde and not under
configure your desktop.
Everyone is new at some point and it shows that this is a problem not addressed by this
omission by mdk. If they wish to hive of the kde control centre in a different location
it would have helped me to have left a pointer under kde as well.
Anyway, I hope you will not give up on me. One day I might answer one of your questions you never know.
