Hello there, I've been trying to make my microphone to work with skype, so i've disable "PulseAudio stupidity" on mcc (mandriva 2009). Therefor I can't setup my microphone, i use Sound Recorder to test the micro but i can't record any sound... here is my amixer console:

First I would try to open alsamixer and unmute anything that is muted. Next you may need to add some options to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base (Not sure if that is correct for mandriva)
