mdk10.1 & sata_nv

Hi.

I downloaded the Mandrake10.1 DVD image and burned it to a CD.
Well, I was trying to install it, but it hangs after choosing the region
etc.. (while trying to load the sata drivers I guess - like allready men-
tioned in other threads in this forum).

It just hangs while loading sata_nv.ko and does nothing anymore.

Is there any way I can fix this?

Other Distributions, like Debian & SuSE don't hang at that stage.

i hope you mean you burned cd images to cd and not a dvd iso to cd?

2) always check that the iso is the same as whats on the download site by running
md5sum filename.iso and compare to the md5sum as posted.

i burned the dvd image (.iso) to a dvd as everyone would.
well, im now running debian as nobody can help me with this problem
