Mandriva 2006 and BellSouth DSL modem

I'm running Mandriva 2006 w/KDE using a 3Com/USRobotics external modem for dial-up service, all works great !
Now I need to connect to BellSouth (US) through a DSL line using their Westell DSL modem.
Any help, suggestions or experiences before I commit myself ?

I use it and it works great. No problems. Nothing special about the setup either.
