MandrakeLinux Update missing

I am using 2005LE. My update icon is missing from the Mandriva Linux Control Center, Software Management section. It is simply no long there. Is there a way to recreate this?
I'd also be curious to know where the thing went and why, if anyone knows.

Thanks for the suggestion. It looked perfect but on my *&$%@$# system it didn't work. The message I got said "There was an error downloading the mirror list: HTTP range error." Naturally I have the patience of a normal person (who the psychs would call ADD and suggest experimental drugs to handle) so I uninstalled and reinstalled rpmdrake with no change and then even "upgraded" my whole system, thinking it would return everything to battery. No luck.
I'm pretty convinced that rpmdrake is the problem but don't know how to correct it. It's pretty annoying. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I get the same "Http range error" under the same OS.

I updated to version RPMdrake 2.10-4.2.102 and RPM-Mandriva-setup 1.5-1 and now get this error.

Any help would be appreciated.
