Mandrake Update

Hello!
I've only got a 56k Modem and I wonder if I can download the updates somwhere with a fast connection & then burn them to a CD to install from.
I'd greatly appreciate if someone could post a link for this (I'm using Mandrake 9.1)

Thanks in advance.

Yes. Just go to www.mandrake.org and download the ISOs and burn them to CD. Then take the CDs to the computer that you wish to upgrade and boot up the computer with CD1 in the CD-Rom drive and go through the update. (Make sure you select the upgrade option)

OK. Thanks. just one more question: can I download Mandrake 9.2 or 10.0 images to update Mandrake 9.1?

Yes, if you download the ISO images, you can burn them to CD. You should be able to upgrade from any version to any version (you can even do a backwards upgrade, if the need arises). Then, you can either use livedrake to update, or you can restart your computer and boot off of CD1 and go through the update. Just make sure you select the option to update, not install. If you get to a section about partitions, then you selected install and will wipe everything out.

Personally I prefer to boot off of CD1 because livedrake is kind of annoying the way it displays the windows (basically each frame of the page is a separate window).
