Mandrake problem

I've intalled Mandrake 9.2 on my notebook (Asus 3400Tp) but I got some problem:

1) The winmodem is not supported and doesn't work!

2) The infrared port is not decected at all!

3) The touchpad stops to work during the installation process

How can I do?

Hi Aldone,

Maybe some bad news : it could be that the winmodem and InfraRed ports just aren't supported by Mandrake right now. You could try another distro (I think SuSE 9.0 has very good winmodem support, for example).

I'm surprised by the touchpad stopping working; don't know about that one.

Try looking at the Linux on Laptops page.
