Mandrake 10.1: "Please test Sagem ADSL modem (DHCP or static) with eagle-usb"

Just a heads up to all of you with Sagem ADSL modems, yeah we've had problems but it looks like Mandrake's addressing them, as the new 10.1rc1 has this note:

These test are most desired:

* Upgrade from a previous Mandrakelinux release.
* Adding new media during installation.
* Network configuration with a Sagem ADSL modem (DHCP or static) with eagle-usb.

So please everyone with the modem try the 10.1rc1 and lets get the bugs sorted.

Proud; this is in ur assistance by all means please enter these devices into
the LQO-HCL list so that it will become a compatiable device once developers, compilers work them into system. thank you !

I tried to upgrade from Mndk 10.0: no way at all to make the Sagem modem keep on the signal http://images.linuxquestions.org/que...ons/icon9.gif. I'm not an expert so I'm not able to find the solution, but if someone can help me... my PC can become a proud guinea pig http://images.linuxquestions.org/que...cons/icon7.gif

andreab; is ur modem compatible with linux?
if so more than probable configuration not complete or incorrect. check the configuration & correct it. it maybe that simple.
