ok the story goes like this :
i'm trying to install mandrake on a p3 450mhz, 256 ram (2*128), no scsi
the hdd looks like this :
IDE 0:0 10gb - empty - (just been killdisked for linux warm hadns)
IDE 0:1 12gb - NTFS - (holds ms 2003 with its own MBR & boot partition)
IDE 1:0 6gb - FAT32 - (holds the mandrake setup files)
IDE 1:1 CDR - ATAPI
now i tried it both ways:
1. boot from mandrake cd and start setup
2. copy setup files to ide1:0\mandrake, boot from cd & instruct mandrake to take the setup files from there
in both i get the same error & i quete (:
