IRQ Conflict or slow system?

hi all. I recently reinstalled Mandrake 9.1 and now when I bootup, I notice an error message regarding IRQs. I checked the system log and saw that it showed IRQ 10 was sharing with IRQ 5. I'll post the actual text from the system log shortly.

I haven't noticed any major problems with my install except that it takes about 10 seconds longer to boot up than before I reinstalled. I did the same things I did when I first installed, such as disable un-necessary services. I also notice when I click on my icons in the Taskbar at the bottom, there's about 1-2 second delay before the app launches. I checked the running processes in the background, using top -bn1 and didn't see anything over 2%.

I don't suppose Linux has a defrag feature.

Any Suggestions?

My understanding is that Ext2/3 does not require defrag because how it works. As far as I know all PCI's can share all IRQ's.

does this look like a problem to anyone?
it's from the system log.

Oct 30 06:59:20 localhost kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 00:08.1
Oct 30 06:59:20 localhost kernel: PCI: Sharing IRQ 10 with 00:05.0
