iPod Questions

Hi,

I just got an iPod. I am completely lost on how to import music to it. Initally I couldn't find the iPod on my computer, so I ran the following command:

Code:
mount -t usbfs /dev/dsa2 /mnt/ipod
When I browse the /mnt/ipod directory I see 8 folders (001 through 008) and a devices file. I open gtkPod and click the "Read" button. I get the following message:

Quote:
'/mnt/ipod/iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB' does not exist. Import aborted.
Do I have to create this directory? What am I missing?

Ryan

Ok. I fixed the problem. I needed to format the iPod to FAT32.
