individual icons


i would like to change a few individuals icons. how do i go about doing this?

pretty easy, in kde just right-clk and in properties clk on the icon..... probably the same in gnome and most other wm's

what i would like to do is change icons like the desktop or mandrake star icons. they have no preview. what options do i do have in changing them in mandrake(10.1)?
