Stupid question, but i guess thats why we're here. i want to change an individual icon to something else, but i guess what im doing is rt. clicking on the icon, hitting edit file type, and it changes all the files to that icon. how can i change only one. thanks a bunch.
Ok, I believe what you would do is right click the icon, and open up its properties, there should be a picture in the upper left of the icon used. If you click on this picture it should bring up a dialogue box where you can choose an alternate icon. Im not in kde at the moment but I believe that is how it is done.
