Well, I finally got Mandrake 9.2 RC2 running 90% of the stuff that I need like:
1) Xine plays all DVDs fine now including encrypted ones
2) Open Office 1.1 Is running great including Java
3) SuperKaramba Program works fine now (except some themes seem not to like "Translucent" mode in your menu settings.)
4) Run Command is showing in Panel Menu and Applet of Dock Panel
I installed "Wine" today, because I want to be able to run basic "Broderbund" educational programs on my computer. Since these are Windows programs, I was told that Wine enables Linux to run them. However, could someone please give me the specific steps on getting Wine to run my Windows programs?
