I've also been tryng to get that question answered.
I think you shpuld wait untill they release the ISO files or just download 9.2, that version is also nice

Is the Mandrake 10 free?
Or do I have to join the Mandrake Club in order to download it?
I know this is off-topic, but I've heard that Debian is the best Linux Distro
Any comments?

1o cds / 2 dvds = powerpack???
hi all!
this question was asked earlier on here but went unanswered.... here there are instructions for making 5 cd or 2 dvd versions of mandrake... but are these equivalent to mandrake powerpack??? or maybe powerpack +??
one other thing i noticed is that in the /pub/linux/mandrake/official/10.0 folder of the ftp sites where we find the /i586 folder there is also the link to the .iso containing folder and also /contib and /SRPMS folders... what do the later 2 folders contain???
thanks for your answers...

I would like to know if you can help me with my problem
./mkcd
Can't locate File/NCopy.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /home/warly/files/cvs/mdk/soft/mkcd/pm/ /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.1 . /home/warly/files/cvs/mdk/soft/mkcd/pm/) at ./mkcd line 27.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./mkcd line 27.
Which file should I install in order to create the CDs?
I already tried with Suse 8.2 and Fedora Core 1, they both give me the same problem
Regards
Xavier

After downloading countless ammount of files, I noticed
1) That my distro (by opening the VERSION) file is Mandrake Cooker 10.1 Community Download. I am now downloading the 10.1 Official (I use an FTP address in this forum, a couple of weeks ago)
2) When I try to create the ISO images with the mkcd program, I receive this errors:

check_last_relocatable: using previous relocatable dir 9.0001

I think I'll just download the 10.1 Community ISO disk (which are really good, I even have the Totern Movie Player with it, Wine, and much more stuff...), a great multimedia distro
When will the official 10.1 ISO be avaIlable?
Regards
Xavier
