package management system?

Did you use a package management system to install it? If peanut linux uses rpms, you could install it via either yum or apt, if you add macromedia's download site to your repository list.

I installed Flash on my box by going to http://www.macromedia.com and clicking the download link at top and then download now.

I saved The file install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz to my home folder and unziped it. In the unziped folder there are two files libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt simply copy them to your plugins folder for mozilla. Im running firefox the path for me was /usr/lib/firefox-1.0/plugins
you will need to do this as root.

installation path

When istalling under root it ask's me to enter the installation path of mozilla i.e /usr/lib/mozilla . For some reason I dont understand this. Can someone describe to me what these mean. usr, lib, any others I may come across while installing.

What you have to do, is put the path for Mozilla in your system. If you haven't modified anything (i.e. if you haven't updated mozilla or something else) the path for Mozilla is /usr/lib/mozilla-1.7.2
Put this path when the installer asks you for it.
Regards.
