problem install flash?


hi,i'm use redhat 9
i'm try to install flash player
this's my work,information and problem

[root@localhost mozilla]# pwd
/usr/lib/mozilla
[root@localhost mozilla]# ls -al
total 36

[root@localhost mozilla]# rpm -qa|grep mozilla

[root@localhost mozilla]# cd /tmp
[root@localhost tmp]# ls
kde-root orbit-root ssh-XXEbJBc8 ssh-XXr7AdBG
ksocket-root ssh-XX4lsUen ssh-XXgGzSJ2 ssh-XXUWztVH
mcop-root ssh-XX7XBYO2 ssh-XXjnG9L2
[root@localhost tmp]# cd kde*
[root@localhost kde-root]# ls

[root@localhost kde-root]# cd flash
[root@localhost flash]# ls
install_flash_player_7_linux konquerorxXeuNb.gz
[root@localhost flash]# cd in*
[root@localhost install_flash_player_7_linux]# ls
flashplayer-installer libflashplayer.so Readme.txt
flashplayer.xpt Readme.htm
[root@localhost install_flash_player_7_linux]# ./flashplayer-installer

Hello!

hmmm...I think you installed mozilla 1.2.1 with the RH installation. Am I wright?
type this ls /usr/lib | grep mozilla. There should be another folder, something like mozilla-1.2.1. When you run the flashplayer installation use /usr/lib/mozilla-1.2.1 or the folder that's similar to this. That should look then like this:

You have to run the installer as root for the system wide installation of flashplayer.
