cannot telnet port 25

My system is on Mandrake 10.1.

There is no firewall or router installed.

IP is

I have installed Postfix.

Telnet 110 connects.

But telnet 25 does not connect. Why ?

Howto fix this problem ?

try 25

postfix has probably bound itself to lo by default

change the 'inet_interfaces = localhost'

in '/etc/postfix/'

to 'inet_interfaces ='

I may have the same problem but I am running RHEL4, where could I find this file?
