[SOLVED] Can Mandriva 2010.1 be Installed to a USB Hard Drive

Can Mandriva 2010.1 be Installed to a USB Hard Drive. I have a sea-gate usb hard drive. It would be the third drive like sdc or sdd. I seem to have a problem after install that it doesn't see grub on the root partition. I reinstall grub and still get a grub prompt at reboot. Is there a special way to install to a usb hard drive. Any Help???

What I discovered that a Sea-gate 1 TB Expansion Drive is not compatible with Linux.
