can't write to the floppy ??!??


i am using Mandrake 10 official and i can't write to a floppy using a normal user account but i can using root account

i get this error

Writing  to devices is not supported
my /etc/fstab looks like this

none /mnt/floppy supermount dev=/dev/fd0,fs=ext2:vfat,exec,--,umask=0,user,codepage=850,iocharset=iso8859-1,suid,sync 0 0
can anyone help plz

I ran into the same thing. I just changed permissions on /dev/fd0. This can be done through the GUI as root or "chmod 777 /dev/fd0" as root from terminal.
