A Few Questions About 9.2

I have a few questions and I hope some of you nice people can give me a hand. I'm running 9.2.

1. I have installed the NVIDIA drivers and downloaded the kernel source files to do so...now Mandrake Update has an update for the kernel source program...if I update, will I have to reinstall the NVIDIA drivers?

2. What is the deal with MenuDrake? I make adjustments to the menus and they do not save, or some of them are saved. What should I do?

3. Also, how do I setup my LG Cd Writer?? The KDE burner program said that I had to start IDE-SCSI services...how do I do that? And this is the LG writer not a LG Cd-Rom...

Sorry for so many questions....please let me know if there are any files that need to be posted.....

Thanks,
Chris

There were bugs in MenuDrake. Run MandrakeUpdate, make sure bugfixes are selected, and download the updates.
