Some questions...

I have have some questions before I destory my distro.

1) Is it possible to kill my distro and start over building a LFS from scratch using my Slackware 9.1 CD's?

2) If no for the above question could I repartiton my drive and then install LFS on to the new partition and kill the old Slackware partition?

That's all the questions I have for now..lol

Thanks, Crypty!

If you have to ask these questions then you do not want LFS...trust me.

lol.. ohh I want it ...I love compiling and making things work... it's when they don't work because of something I have no control over is when I don't want it.

I started it doing it a werid way this is what I have in mind

1) Create all my LFS partitions then make two slackware partitions
but make all partitons so that LFS has hda1.hda2 and hda3 and my slackware partitions have hda4 and hda5, this way when I do kill slackware's partitons and resize the LFS drives the drive order won't chnage thus my bootloader will still know where my /boot is for the kernel.

2) Do exctly what the cvs HOWTO says to do letter by letter.

3) Cross my fingers and hope that I'm right about my drives not changing there
order when I take the slackware partitions outand resize the LFS partitions

4) If nothing goes wrong go nuts with happyness...lol (most unlikey to happen)
