2007 dissapointment

After useing Mandrake/Mandriva for years and following the upgrades I feel dissapointed in their lates effort. Sure 2006 had Kat but that was quickly resolved. I am finding several things that I consider broken and several apps that I use to have dependency errors with 2007. Not what I expected

How about saying what you consider brokenn and what dependency errors? That way maybe folks will try to help you instead of looking at your post and think trolling.

If you don't state in detail the problems you were experiencing, then nobody can help you out or explain the problems to you.

Updated urpmi with 2006 for your 2007 release? Would that not be termed "backdated urpmi"? Sorry, could not resist. Actually not even sure what you have done, are you now using 2006 sources for the 2007 release?

I agree with you ppl, surely CabinetCrafter, you've been around long enough, that we know how our explanations and questions may help others of less knowledge in an area.

OK I can accept that you were busy or excited, but what gives, I'm intriegued now, WHAT DID YOU DO AND WHY?

Cheers, and Here's to open source (holds up glass of wine).

(edit)PS. I had heaps of trouble with installing packages with 2007 beta 2.
