I'm an occasional Linux user. Started with Red Hat, then SUSE, and then Mandrake 9. Well, I'm back on the Linux kick again and looking at using Mandriva. I'd like to use it as a file server primarily with other occasional functionality Would anyone recommend downloading 2005LE or 2006 beta3?
Like I said, beta is a testing version not meant for production. It may work well, but there could be serious bugs so I don't recommend it on a server. As for extra goodies, I don't there is much, only the usual updates to gnome and kde as well as improvements in other apps.
