What is my ignore list, and should there be a simple link to it?
I decided to add a poster to my ignore list today (given my history and number of posts I think I've shown great restraint)
However, I'm not actually that clear on what I've done - will they come up red rather than blue when the post or does it just block email?
What about buddies, what does my buddy list do?
But I guess the real point of this post is that I can add a buddy by clicking the poster's name and adding them as a buddy. If ignore lists are useful, I'd have though a similar link here would help too.
We have no plans to promote the ignore functionality more prominently. It's really more of a last resort.

Good. I couldn't agree more. Personally, I don't even use the "ignore" feature. If anyone replies to a thread to which I'm subscribed, I want to know, regardless of the nature of the post.
What would be more usefull is if you just didn't see their threads when they started a post.
I have one individual on my ignore list. And that is just to remind me that if I ever encounter a thread with that person, it would just be best for everybody concerned (including me!) if I just didn't go there. The last time just didn't work out so well and it would have been better if I had stopped posting on that thread before I did. I have even forgotten the name. Which is good. But the list hasn't forgotten.
