wget - problems making it ignore a link

Well basically I've got it all figured out. I've got a forum (pretty small), I wanna get on my disk. Got my cookie, got sessions figured (I think) and it kinda works. The only problem is that wget will always follow the logout link. All following links just show the logouted state. And since the forum is private nothing useful is downloaded.

Now, how do I make wget *not* follow a link?

I found switches to:
- exclude directories
- exclude commands
- exclude extensions
- exclude html tags

Where is one to exclude certain links? Maybe I am just missing something, but this is really messing my head. If anyone can help it'd be appreciated.

link I want ignored:
somewebpage/index.php?act=Login&CODE=03

So if it could just exclude this link somehow? Just dont follow it...

I don't know anything about wget, but if I may suggest, you may want to check out httrack instead. It's more focused on site downloading specifically than wget, and may be better at setting up the kind of filter you want. I've found that it's quite easy to set up included and excluded links using it. There's also a web interface and several guis available for it, if that's more your style.

I figured that wget probably doesn't even support link exclusion. From what I read in their mailing lists it is a feature desired for quite a time but not implemented. Oh, and I will try the program you suggested, thanks.
