Spam Paranoia


What's up with "You cannot post URLs to other sites until you have made at least 3 posts." That is retarded.

Indeed I agree. In fact the 10 character minimum is lame too.

Don't post useless messages to get around the rule. You will be severely frowned upon in this community if you do such things.

The rule is put in there for a reason. Believe me, as a forum admin, I know how annoying it is when you get hit with spam on the boards. And for a board this size, I can only imagine the work the mods have to do to keep it clean.

As I said, please do not circumvent this rule. Try posting something useful before you post a link or just leave out the http:// bit from your URL if you absolutely must post a URL for genuine reasons.

It's not paranoia. It's reality, you'd better believe that...
