Thanks jeremy. I love statistics (but I guess you knew that ^_^). It is interesting to see (if not weird, to say the least), that a huge number of visitors use Windows and IE to browse the forums. In Fact, the number of users using Win/IE combo is not that much higher than Lin/FF, or even Win/FF.
Very cool to see that most of us use the same resolution and have Java enabled as well.
Thanks again.
P.S: 277 distinct browsers? Wow. Didn't know there were so many. How is that possible?

The complete stats aren't available, but keep in mind that the "UserAgent" is an arbitrary field in some browser. To expand on the stat a little, after browser #21, each browser has under 10 pageviews for the entire month. At #116 and below, it's a single pageview for the month. A large number of them seem to be mobile browsers, which actually send the model of the phone as the UserAgent in some cases.
I know I contribute to the windows visits to the site because I usually browse it at work. I wonder how many more of the windows visits to the site are people who never use it at home but are forced to at work and spend more time on this site at work than at home?

archtoad6, those would both show up in the stats under the Konqueror item.
farkus888, a cursory look indicates much of the Windows traffic is people coming from search engines (which makes sense). I'm sure members browsing from work also comes into the equation.
A small fraction of Windows users could also be people with problems getting either their modem or their wireless network to work in Linux, which seems to be a common problem for most newcomers. Well... I guess
Last School year I browsed LQ a lot from Windows, I had to be there when I was doing my School. Now since I am using a VMware (And I do not do school in the summer ), I have not accessed LQ from Windows since last June.
Thanks for the stats, Jeremy. They're always interesting.

Personally, I found LQ with the StumbleUpon toolbar. While I did not become a member until after I made the switch, I did browse LQ occasionally using Win98/FF for several months.
