Hi,

What happens when you click on the link that is within the PM shown by the client?

You might need to go under Edit Options and enable private messages.

Hi,

I don't think the OP would not be receiving PM if the option had not already been enabled.

when I go into My LQ and try to goto private msg, it comes up with

johnh10000, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Hi,

If you have the option setup via 'Edit Options' properly. And you are still getting that series of messages then contact LQ. Be sure to provide the errors that you are getting along with what you are attempting to do at that time.

Private message aren't enabled until you're in the Senior Member usergroup (currently 150 posts).

johnh10000, FWIW I do not see that anyone sent you a PM, so I'm not sure why you received a message indicating that you did. What was the exact message you saw?
