Jeramy,
5000 posts seems too far away for me, a non-computing user. 1 post a day will take me 13 years and a half to get a guru title. 1 post a week will take 95 years and 9 months. 1 post a month will take 164 years and a quarter. So any words that reflex this kind of efford will be OK. Here is my contributions: GG for Grand of the Guru. Linuxism for having too much Linux in blood just like alcoholism. Mamamiya for being a mum of a mummy.

And so far, you've made 2 posts in a year... 5000 posts will take 2500 years.
I must have missed something. I haven't received any notification of my victory
Mind you, I just came back from holidays so I probably missed a lot of things.
Anyway, where can I collect the prize?
To keep my post on topic, here's another of my suggestions:
LQ Engineer
why not to have somthing like this for TITLE=
AMA = Anti Microsoft Activist
and for the record I use windows to post cause the only thing that windows comes in handy!!!!!
for production I use Linux ofcourse!
I like these OS Icons
Bearing in mind that as many as 103 (out of 336) posts in this thread have been posted from Windows, we don't seem to be doing well in terms of anti MS activities
Oh no not one year. Dont be so harsh. Just about 9 months. So that would be just below 2500 years.
Considering it took 9 months to make a second post, I was assuming he wouldn't be posting again this year.

penguinivore! tuxicider! with gravy! (penguicide? tuxivore?)
It's the circle of life... and where penguins usually live, in the Antarctic Circle, it's quite a short food chain. I mean, there's krill, whatever that is, and...what?

"GeekyGeezer"
hey, how'd u get ahold of the name of ubuntu 21.04?
Came out last week? The name sounds like Linux gave up on mainstream though, since that's what Ubuntu mainly is... but then "Geeky" is the edition with data-goggle and haptic sensor glove drivers, so yeah. (What's that you say? Supported since 2005? w00t. )

Reason: Smiley failed?
GURU comes from the indian language hindi.. which means the one who has a solid knowledge in some field.
So how about "LQ Gyani" (Gyani means who knows a lot about something)
That is so, but 'wizard' and 'god' are English. I was just talking about terms used in the hacker culture, and I do not think any three more need to be used than those.
Get real! How could someone who posts 5k times really have something useful to impart? They'd have to always be online and most likely posting because they have nothing better to do. Bored and just LURKING & TEXTING because they can. Sharing their opinions which are not necessarily their expertise.
How often do you see in replies to POSTS the following: IMHO...blah, blah (reply is often a comment and not on target)?
Did I make my point?
I would like to see a "TITLE" that could help separate the frequent "Poster" comments from the frequent expert replies because this LQ Forum has a lot of both types of posters.
