Multiple identities?
Just curious.
How would you know if I create more than one identity here? How can you trace the same member having multiple user-names? Surely IP tracking can't be conclusive coz you are never sure whether its a personal computer or some system in a cafe.
And also, will I get a cake daily if I change my birth date daily?

Not sure why you'd ask to be honest. We do have some heuristics in place and additionally the mods have become quite keen at detecting this kind of thing (at least in cases where it matters).

When you pay attention to details, you can easily pick up on some members writing and posting habits, style. I've picked out members with multiple logins numerous times before.

Just curious Jeremy, that's all.
Yeah attention to detail is one way but is there any specific software kinda thing which conveys this info in some way or other?
And no answer to my cake question?

A lot. Some users never even post but login or have logins to take advantage of other features, like community bulletin mailings, etc.
