LinuxQuestions.org Announces a New Site

I am happy to announce that LinuxQuestions.org has released a new site. LQ ISO will allow you to find a fast download mirror for your favorite Linux distribution. The site is integrated with the LQ reviews and distro forums, and will allow you to rate the speed of the mirrors used. As always, feedback is welcome.

Also, I'd like to thank david_ross who worked extremely hard to get LQ ISO finished in time to do the release from LinuxWorld. Thanks David!

Lechium, the LQ ISO site is not affiliated with Linux ISO.

Hey zLinuxz,

the distributions section, I thought it was for the distros you have installed/are working on/using. Seems to me like you have listed all you have

Jeremy, this is awesome. I'm glad that I can finally go to one place to download ISO's AND have a great discussion about Linux.

Thanks for everything you've been doing.

Zlinuxz,

I meant distros you currently have installed on your system. In any case, if I ever need ancient distros, I know whom t ask

Cheers.

Hi Jeremy

Just one question on the iso.linuxquestions.org start page - I see in left sidebar that there are 38 distros, but it was only by going to Suse 9.1 Personal that I could click on a 'Server' link that presented Whitebox .... Is it at all possible to present not only the top ten most recent additions and/or top ten favorite, but also a listing of all the underlying distro/version pages. I tried alphabetical but it just didn't do it.

TIA
