I'm really interested on this, I really would like to be part of the project, I'm a R&D Manager and I have experience with Linux and Android and Networking and some other stuff. If there's still the possibility to be part of the project please let me know.

Thanks

I'm certainly interested. I've been using computers and all types of OSes since the 80's. My current favorite Linux Distro is Mint 17, and use Zorin OS 9 on my family laptop. I have used other phones and have rooted and installed different Android custom builds. I'm not a developer, but i'm good at installing, testing, and using different OSes. I've installed Android OS on different Tablets. I like Debian based distros, but am comfortable with Red Hat, Solaris, AIX, SuSE, and pretty much anything that's Unix like. I've installed MacOS 10 on my home built desktop and make multi-boot USB drives with various Linux distros. I try to convince everyone to move off of Windows and use a Linux OS. I will start experimenting with ChromeOS and I know Ubuntu has their own OS on phones and tablets.

I am interested as I have become quite an experienced Android user and I learn quickly, however I can't offer any help with flashing/ROMs/mods/rooting and stuff like that because I have no experience with those things. What I can do though is answer newbie questions with accurate information.

However I'm generally quite busy so I might not have the time for this. PM me if you want more information or to provide further details (as I'm still not too sure exactly what this is about anyway).

Android, Linux, and Chrome

I have been using Ubuntu Linux for years. I also have a tablet, a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 running Android, and recently got a Chromebook, which I am becoming familiar with. Each OS has its own features, most of which I like. I would like to join in discussions, as I have much to learn and may even have something to contribute (maybe).

In Reply to your question

I am as new as they come, and I can't learn a thing sitting on the side lines.
So Yes! I am willing to be apart of your experiment and get my feet wet. Android/Chrome OS is within my comfort zone...

Thanks for the interest. The one item everyone can help with is participation; ask questions, answer questions, post tutorials, give your general feedback/user experiences, post interesting news or rumors. Participation will draw in more members, which will increase the usefulness of the site for everyone. That said, if you're interested in something more please contact me offline with what you have in mind and we can discuss. Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback. To be fair, it is mentioned in the header on every page if you're not logged in.

Hi I am very interested in helping out where I can and am currently looking for a new project. I have switched from windows to wheezy about 6 months ago and haven't looked back. I also am a big fan of android and have cooked a few of my own roms and developed a few apps.

On my smart phone...I use Android. It is a Samsung OS G3 phone. It works for me. For my computers, On my 2012 Asus laptop I am using Zorin 9 core..It used to have Windows 8, and it crashed and I replaced it with Zorin. My 2003 Dell 1100 laptop I am using Zorin 9 Lite. My new Dell 760 desktop computer that I founded at the dumpster... It could not boot up to Windows Vista, so I installed Zorin 9 and it now runs like a brand new computer.

I am new to linux, and I don't like Microsoft operating system anymore because they have too many problems.
