Just updating my outlook on all of this. In todays fast paced world. Leet speak. Etc......

I have withdrawn a bit in my answers. Because a bic lighter answer is wanted. Not a Zippo lighter answer.

Like for someone here who requested how to learn this stuff.
My canned answer will be this link.

Anymore. It is hard to answer questions outside of my own distro choices.
Plus. Everyone moves faster than I do.
Been paying it forward for years.

Time to pass the torch. I am not leaving. Just leaning back.
While I leave the passion fish to mingle among themselves.

Just the natural order I guess kicking in.
Just a clueless old user commenting on how times are leaving him in the dust.

Used to get bored and answer game questions running in linux outside of wine.

Hi Rok,
I may or may not have been the Mepis user that was attempting to get Bravetree's Think Tanks 32 bit tank game working in Mepis years ago.
Now I have a newly installed MX OS and am trying to get that very same game to run on MX. I can get it to open and run in "solo" offline mode fine.
But as soon as I try to connect to a game server the game immediately crashes and closes. Any ideas?
Thanks in Advance,
Jeff

Mod note Eadwine: split your post to a new topic, please open your own instead of replying to a very old thread.
Even old stuff follows me around lately. Like my rescued dogs.

Edit: I stayed up late nights coaching the above dude. He knows how to start the app from terminal. I guess he forgot I told him.
