Deleting Threads

How do you delete a thread that you have posted?

I know the rules say you shouldn't post a thread in more than one forum, and the problem is I think I should posted in a different forum so I'm trying to find a way to "migrate" by deleting the old and starting a new...

Or is that Moderator-Only Power?

Deletion of threads is an Admin only power. Threads are only deleted in extreme circumstances - spamming of porn, wildly inappropriate threads, that sort of thing. If you ever think that you have posted in the wrong forum, click the link in the bottom right of the post which is marked "report this thread to a moderator" and let us know. We will then move it.

And this thread is moved to Website Suggestions and Feedback, which is where questions about LQ go.
