Lightbulb Personal movies on CD : dvzeec project

Hi all,

I started a project to convert my movies (DV format) from my personal video camera to an other format suitable for DVD/Divx player. The main interesting thing of this project is that I generate SRT subtitles for each sequence of my movie. All will be driven by a GUI and the goal is the following :

- Grab the movie to files (using dvgrab tool)
- Generate subtitles (perl script)
- Convert to specific format (xvid) (using transcode)
- Verification of the movies generated (using mplayer)
- Burning to CD

The project has just started a few days ago, and the homepage is :

This program is written with gambas (basic), easy and quick development...

You can download the binary with CVS : module dvzeec_base, file : dvzeec
You can have a look to the screenshot also

Maybe you can be interested...
Feel free to comment.
