I recently upgraded my Slack 11 to 12, but after the fact I couldn't get a test page to print. I kept getting ERROR: /invalidfont in findfont. Did some Google searching and it seems the Ghostscript-fonts-std-8.11-noarch-1.tgz package wasn't installed. Why, I don't know because I used upgradepkg --install-new but it seemed to skip that package. But, that fixed the problem. I don't need to print many test pages, but it bothers me when something doesn't work.
