Hi,
Welcome to the "pack"...might I suggest this reading? And the best wayS (several ways ) to explore Linux:
- get a redundant box and mess it up, then try to fix things
- ask questions, but...you're already there, you enrolled in the forum
- learn to make backups, make a backup BEFORE every update (and there will be updates, trust me)
- enjoy Linux, yes, it can be done I'm doing it on a daily base...
