Really frustrating - now over 16 hours & my Linux related post (& a 2nd attempt at it which is also being moderated) hasn't appeared in the Newbie forum yet other new users (one of whom is posting an off topic Window$ question of all things) have
I understand the need to moderate to prevent spammers but I could be doing that here if I was that way inclined. I realise that complaining straight away won't make me any friends but I don't think I've ever come across this in a forum before.
I can understand the frustration. It looks as if your post has been approved.
Please remember that everyone here, including Jeremy and the mods, is a volunteer. I generally wait at least 24 hours before I check for a response to a question I've posted.
It may be that maybe a few more mod's could be added but you have to realize first that we wish to welcome you to LQ and that the mod's may not be here 24/7.
