First post from a long-time Linux user
I've been a Linux user since the early 1990's when I first saw Maddog Hall running Linux on his DEC HiNote laptop and asked "is that Minix?" Since building my first kernel, I've used Linux in a variety of roles -- some of them firsts -- and remain active with the Linux Foundation. I'm currently the enterprise architect for a major public SaaS company, building an industry leading next generation platform on primarily FOSS technologies.
