I wanted to start learning linux server to setup my own email server and web server then move on to other projects. I have installed Ubuntu server LTS and am following the guide on Ars Technica http://arstechnica.com/information-t...main-part-1/2/. If anyone has any advice or anything let me know
Thanks for the warm welcomes and my really slow reply it has been crazy here. I followed the ars technica guide and got through most of it however when I get to the step to test my email server on my local network I cant connect. In the guide before you test on the local network he goes through setting up a bind9 server but Im not doing something right I get an EOf error when restarting the dhcp server. Would i not be able to connect to my mail server locally if bind9 is not set up correctly?
I dont get networking lol.
