LUG in Hobart, TAS Australia?

G'day

I've done a little bit of Unix scripting for a 1-2years but only just got around to installing RH9 onto my laptop (DELL Inspirion 8200). Had the chance after XPPro died on me!

So now I want to talk/meet others in Hobart using Linux etc.

Have over 12 years IT experience - VMS SysMgr then some RDBMS stuff (Rdb, Oracle, SQL2K informix (yuk)). Plus SANs and did a few years as Deployment Architect.

Now taking sabbatical from corporate life and starting my own IT Service and Maintenance Consulting Business.

You may want to check our Linux User Group Forum, although no one has, yet. posted a Hobart LUG there (maybe you could be the first?), there are links in the first few sticky threads to places you can go to search for one. If you do find one, let them know about us and get them to post in the LUG forum. Good Luck.
