Looking forward to being part of the community

Hey everyone! I'm Marc. I'm using Ubuntu linux on three different machines at home. Each for its own purpose, and each a project on its own (I love this hobby)

Comp1 - this is the one I'm using the most. It's a Dell Latitude C600. Dual boots win2k and Ubuntu. Trying to use Ubuntu exclusively, but I am having some wifi problems at work (not at home). Most things work on this machine, but I'm constantly tinkering

Comp2 - This is an old PII 400mhz that I'm using as a print and file server. I'm probably going to upgrade this soon to a PIII 850 with RAID5 - we'll see how that goes

Comp3 - This is my HTPC. Currently running Win2k with GB-PVR, but I'm working on getting Ubuntu set up so I can MythTV and replace windows.

So much to do, so little time. I'm learning more and more about linux, but the amount to learn seem infinite. Thanks for the help you all offer, and I hope I can contribute positively.

Marc

Hello + welcome! There are quite a few people looking at Ubuntu for media centres, so am sure you'll be able to get help with that one, along with your wifi problems!
