Smile Introducing my self

Actually, I have been entering threads before this but using a different email address and password. I had a new computer built with 64 bit and had to reinstall everything, and start over with some. Plus I had a network set up using Samba and my WINXP. I am hoping that this year will be the year of my migrating as much as I can to Linux, although I have arthritis and typing is a bit of a problem. So, I ask here if anyone has a voice dictation program or is working on one, similar to Dragon for Windows?

Welcome to LQ!
I think if you ask for a voice dictation program in the Linux - Software section, you are far more likely to get some good suggestions ;-)
Hope that helps.

Welcome John,

I wish you the best of luck on find a good solution to allow you to work with your computer with the least amount of pain or discomfort.

I would suggest that you look at Speech Recognition for Linux, it seems that they have some options that might be of intrest.

Good luck,
