I'm a linux noob

I'm Lesk and very tired of windows. So today I loaded up linux on my laptop to test it out and see if I can figure it out. I'm pretty excited to learn linux. I've already downloaded the programs I use the most.

I'm not a coder or programmer, but would love to have another OS. My windows box is starting to really tick me off. My engineer friend swears by linux, so I'm giving it a shot.

Just saying hi pretty much and I may be on here a bit more.

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

Hope you're going to enjoy our little community.

And since this isn't really a Linux question I'll
move your thread to General which is more suitable
for introductions and general chat :}

Cheers,
Tink
