Hi everyone, I am glad to join here. Now I am using Fedora 20 OS. Hope to get some funns here.

It depends from the question to understand where you should post

Hi, I changed to Linux and would like to do some bioinformatics analysis on my DNA,proten sequences etc. I am looking for some free softwares to use. Could you please recommend some like DNASTAR, BioEdit etc to me?

There is a specific distro linux based on Ubuntu for bioinformatics.
Here the distro.
Here the software list.
