Hi from England!

Hello all I just joined.

I was a lorry driver (truck driver to our US friends) for 22 years and took a career change in January of this year. I have been interested in computers for a long time and am now a hardware engineer.

My new company uses Linux, its Mandrake but I think they have been playing with it, so I am learning very quickly although there is a tendency for them to shout "Look it up!" at me so here I am.

Three months ago I'd never heard of Linux but now I'm having a go at 'Linux from Scratch' so you'll probably hear from me again.

Cheers Wolfie.

Hello and welcome from a fellow Brit.

Well we all have to start somewhere. So the mantra is read, read and read some more

Good luck.
