Met linux 16y ago in university, by then I tought "win3.1" would rule someday (and did in facto), and because of that I took my options and followed BillGates way.
16y later and beeing fed up of Microsoft Systems, I'm having a delicious time diving in linux CLI world, and learning the hard way.
Goodbye windows "reboot-reinstall" troubleshooting.
Welcome "cat-grep-ps-kill-etc..." troubleshooting.

Hi,daK76 its not so hard if you have the right method and it gets easier as time goes by... and don't forget you will need some patience and persistence plus a good sense of humour. LOL
Hi daK76, there's a myriad of sites on the net with all sort of guides, howtos and tutorials about linux, but in order to have some fun with the CLI while learning new stuff, I'd suggest: http://www.linuxcommand.org/ (particularly, the "Learning the shell" part, to begin with). And, of course, there's also http://www.tldp.org/ for general information, howtos, etc.
