Excellent article. It will be interesting to see if other libraries follow in their footsteps, particularly if Linux allows them a longer functional life for their hardware.

that is just awsome. i really would love to see more and more companies taking this type of step.

and there is your proof in action that linux has a lower TCO over M$.
